Our challenge was to launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia and promote the return of The A-Team
to the big screen. Sony and Orange wanted to leverage this collaboration for an experiential
event that would not only drive Xperia sales but also remind customers that purchasing
from Orange gives you access to the world of films.
Our goal was to create an interactive, feel-good experience that would appeal to the
whole family, as the event took place in Westfield, a family-oriented shopping destination.
We set up a mini film set right outside the Orange store, offering participants the chance
to snap a photo with their A-Team shot on the Sony Xperia, register their interest
gathering valuable data for future engagement.
To incentivise we offered the chance to win a holiday for the lucky winner and
their crew, which added to the event’s overall success.
